Este s\u00e1bado 5 de abril celebraremos nuestro D\u00eda de la Familia para 4\u00b0 a 12\u00b0 de ambos tracks, un encuentro especial\u00a0lleno de diversi\u00f3n, disfrute y uni\u00f3n entre todos los integrantes de la Familia LPV. La invitaci\u00f3n es para todos, independientemente que hayan adquirido (o no) productos en la preventa que cerr\u00f3 recientemente.

Cuidar la salud de toda la comunidad comienza con peque\u00f1os h\u00e1bitos diarios. Estas recomendaciones ayudan a prevenir el contagio de virus respiratorios como la gripa, el resfriado, tos y\/u otras similares:

-Mant\u00e9n al d\u00eda el esquema de vacunaci\u00f3n de tus hijos.
-Si hay s\u00edntomas como tos, congesti\u00f3n o fiebre, lo mejor es quedarse en casa y consultar al m\u00e9dico.
-Promueve el lavado frecuente de manos con agua y jab\u00f3n.
-Ens\u00e9\u00f1ales a los chicos a cubrirse la boca al toser o estornudar, usando el codo o un pa\u00f1uelo.
-Evita compartir botellas, cubiertos o elementos personales.
-Refuerza estos h\u00e1bitos en casa y en el colegio.

Con responsabilidad y cuidado colectivo, protegemos a todos. En LPV el bienestar de todos los integrantes es nuestra prioriodad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

**Taking care of our community\u2019s health starts with small daily habits.
These recommendations help to prevent the spread of respiratory viruses such as the flu, common cold, cough, and similar illnesses:

-Keep your children\u2019s vaccination schedule up to date.
-If there are symptoms like cough, congestion, or fever, it\u2019s best to stay home and consult a doctor.
-Encourage frequent handwashing with soap and water.
-Teach children to cover their mouth when coughing or sneezing, using their elbow or a tissue.
-Avoid sharing bottles, utensils, or personal items.
-Reinforce these habits both at home and at school.

With responsibility and collective care, we protect everyone. At LPV, the well-being of every member of our community is our top priority.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Charlas de prevenci\u00f3n de sustancias psicoactivas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Esta semana iniciamos una serie de charlas, actividades y espacios formativos en el marco de la campa\u00f1a de prevenci\u00f3n del consumo de sustancias psicoactivas, liderada por los equipos de Convivencia, Bienestar y Apoyo LPV. La primera charla se llev\u00f3 a cabo el pasado martes, estuvo a cargo de la Liga Contra el C\u00e1ncer y estuvo dirigida a los estudiantes de la secci\u00f3n de Bachillerato. Estos espacios son fundamentales, y la labor de concientizaci\u00f3n debe ser un esfuerzo conjunto entre el hogar y el colegio. Pronto les compartiremos m\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n sobre el desarrollo de esta campa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

**This week, we began a series of talks, activities, and educational sessions as part of the campaign to prevent the use of psychoactive substances, led by the LPV Coexistence, Well-being and Support teams. The first talk took place last Tuesday, was led by the Liga Contra el C\u00e1ncer, and was aimed at students in the Secondary section. These initiatives are essential, and raising awareness must be a shared effort between home and school. We will soon share more updates about the progress of this campaign.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Los ni\u00f1os de Kinder 3 Track A se transformaron en piratas como parte de la actividad detonante de la unidad de indagaci\u00f3n: C\u00f3mo nos expresamos<\/em>. En esta aventura divertida y significativa, los peque\u00f1os salieron en busca de un tesoro muy especial: sus objetos de apego o juguetes favoritos. A trav\u00e9s de esta experiencia, los estudiantes hicieron conexiones entre sus emociones y aquellos elementos que les brindan alegr\u00eda, seguridad o consuelo. Al encontrar sus tesoros, compartieron con sus compa\u00f1eros por qu\u00e9 esos objetos eran importantes para ellos y c\u00f3mo se sintieron al reencontrarse con ellos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

**The Kinder 3 Track A students dressed up as pirates as part of the provocation activity for the Unit of Inquiry: How We Express Ourselves<\/em>. In this fun and meaningful adventure, the children went in search of a very special treasure, their comfort objects or favorite toys. Through this experience, they made connections between their emotions and the things that bring them joy, security, or comfort. Once they found their treasures, they shared with their classmates why those objects were important to them and how they felt when they found them again.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Los estudiantes de grado 12\u00b0 participaron en una salida acad\u00e9mica enfocada en ciencias del deporte, el ejercicio y la salud. Durante la visita a la UCAD (Unidad de Ciencias Aplicadas al Deporte), tuvieron la oportunidad de realizar un test de perfil neuromuscular conocido como Optogait<\/em>, una herramienta de evaluaci\u00f3n avanzada utilizada en el \u00e1mbito deportivo. Agradecemos a todos quienes hacen posible este tipo de experiencias significativas, en especial a la Gobernaci\u00f3n de Risaralda por su apoyo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

**Our 12th grade students took part in an academic field trip focused on sports science, exercise, and health. During their visit to UCAD (Unidad de Ciencias Aplicadas al Deporte), they had the opportunity to complete a neuromuscular profile assessment using Optogait<\/em>, an advanced tool commonly used in athletic performance evaluation. We extend our thanks to everyone who helped make this meaningful experience possible, especially the Gobernaci\u00f3n de Risaralda for their continued support.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Desde la Direcci\u00f3n de Innovaci\u00f3n y la Coordinaci\u00f3n del Programa Virtual, se ha venido trabajando con compromiso en una serie de transformaciones que fortalecer\u00e1n esta modalidad educativa, basada en una propuesta alternativa, h\u00edbrida y semipresencial. A lo largo de los a\u00f1os, este programa ha formado a destacados profesionales que hoy se destacan en diversos contextos (ver ejemplo AQU\u00cd<\/a>). Esta semana, tuvimos un encuentro con varios estudiantes de esta modalidad, con el objetivo de conocer de primera mano sus percepciones y compartirles algunos de los importantes cambios que est\u00e1n por venir. Muy pronto, esperamos contarle a toda la Familia LPV las novedades que hemos preparado para este Programa, el cual contin\u00faa avanzando por la senda de la innovaci\u00f3n que siempre lo ha caracterizado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

**From the Innovation Office and the Virtual Program Coordination team, we have been working with dedication on a series of changes aimed at strengthening this educational approach, which is based on an alternative, hybrid, and blended learning model. Over the years, this program has shaped outstanding professionals who are now excelling in various academic and professional fields around the world (example HER<\/a>E<\/em>). Just this week, we held a meaningful meeting with several students from this modality to hear their firsthand perspectives and share some of the exciting changes that are on the way. We look forward to sharing with the entire LPV Family all that we are preparing for this program, one that continues to follow the path of innovation that has always defined it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
