College fair: opening horizons
Este jueves tuvimos nuestra Feria de Universidades LPV, espacio construido desde los equipos de Pruebas Estandarizadas y Bienestar y Apoyo en conjunto con la agencia JCT4Education. Durante este evento, los estudiantes de grados 11 y 12, junto a sus acudientes, tuvieron la oportunidad de conocer diferentes proyectos educativos nacionales e internacionales dirigidos por prestigiosas instituciones educativas de educación superior. Adicional a esto, también otros colegios hermanos de la ciudad estuvieron presentes en la feria. Agradecemos a todos por hacer posible este tipo de espacios en pro de nuestros futuros universitarios.
**This Thursday, we held our LPV College Fair, an event organized by the Standardized Exams international and Well-being & Support departments in collaboration with the JCT4Education agency. During the fair, 11th and 12th-grade students, along with their guardians, had the opportunity to explore various national and international educational programs offered by prestigious higher education institutions. Additionally, city schools partners also attended the event. We sincerely thank everyone who made this space possible to support the future of our university students.

Right now, the trophies, medals, and commemorative magazine are displayed in the Human Capital – OSH office, ready for anyone who wants to take a look, and feel proud to be part of this amazing family!

Learning about healthy eating from an early age
Como parte de la unidad de indagación ‘Quiénes somos’, los chicos de grados 1ros de Little School recibieron un taller sobre alimentos y sus beneficios, dirigido por nuestra nutricionista María Teresa Aragón. Durante este importante espacio, los alumnos aprendieron cómo cada alimento impacta directamente a cada órgano, así como también tuvieron la oportunidad de hacer sus propios pinchos de frutas. Reconocimiento especial al equipo de Alimentación y Nutrición y la sección de Little School por estas iniciativas.
As part of the inquiry unit “Who We Are,” the 1st-grade students at Little School participated in a food and its benefits workshop, led by our nutritionist, María Teresa Aragón. During this valuable session, the students learned how each food directly impacts different organs and had the opportunity to make their own fruit skewers. A special shout-out to the Food and Nutrition team and the Little School section for these wonderful initiatives!

No podía faltar nuestra noticia deportiva. Esta vez, el reconocimiento es para nuestra alumna Julieta González Fruchtnis del grado 10AA, quien junto a su padre, el señor Pablo González Isaza, obtuvo el primer puesto gross en el Torneo Padres e hijos que se llevó a cabo en el Club Campestre de Pereira. Felicitaciones a ambos y agradecimiento especial a nuestra mamá LPV, Heidi Fruchtnis, quien nos comparte estos importantes logros.
We couldn’t miss our sports news! This time, the spotlight is on our 10AA student Julieta González Fruchtnis, who alongside her father, Mr. Pablo González Isaza, secured first place in the Parents & Children Tournament held at Club Campestre de Pereira. Congratulations to both of them! A special thanks to our LPV mom, Heidi Fruchtnis, for sharing this important achievements with us.
