El pasado miércoles nuestros estudiantes del Programa del Diploma vivieron una enriquecedora jornada académica de integración, explorando tres estaciones clave del componente troncal del programa:
CAS (Creatividad, Actividad y Servicio): Fomentando el compromiso social y el aprendizaje experiencial.
Exposición de Teoría del Conocimiento: Desarrollando el pensamiento crítico y la reflexión sobre el conocimiento.
Monografías: Fortaleciendo habilidades de investigación y argumentación académica.
¡Felicitamos a nuestros estudiantes por su entusiasmo y compromiso en esta experiencia!
*Last wednesday our Diploma Programme students took part in an enriching academic integration event, exploring three key stations of the programme’s core components:
CAS (Creativity, Activity, and Service): Encouraging social commitment and experiential learning.
Theory of Knowledge Exhibition (TOK): Developing critical thinking and deep reflection on knowledge.
Extended Essay: Strengthening research and academic argumentation skills.

Para este primer semestre del 2025 tuvimos el ingreso de muchos estudiantes nuevos, quienes junto a sus familias se unen a esta maravillosa Familia LPV. Pasado aproximadamente un mes, nos acercamos a ellos a ver cómo se han sentido en su nuevo hogar y su respuesta nos llenó el corazón. **This first semester of 2025, we welcomed many new students who, along with their families, are now part of our wonderful LPV Family. A pocos cinco días de finalizar la contienda electoral, nuestros aspirantes y sus equipos se ponen la camiseta para sacar sus campañas adelante. Como parte de este proceso, nuestros candidatos participarán en un debate estudiantil, donde expondrán sus ideas, responderán preguntas y defenderán sus propuestas.

**With just five days to go before the end of the electoral race, our candidates and their teams are putting on their shirts to move their campaigns forward. As part of this process, our candidates will participate in a student debate, where they will present their ideas, answer questions and defend their proposals.

Médico por un día
Doctor for a day
En una jornada llena de aprendizaje y emoción, los estudiantes de K2B tuvieron la oportunidad de convertirse en médicos por un día. No solo vistieron sus batas, sino que también realizaron una ronda médica por la institución. Como parte de esta experiencia, nuestros pequeños doctores exploraron una ambulancia real, donde conocieron su equipamiento y aprendieron sobre el funcionamiento de cada uno de sus componentes.
**In full of learning and excitement day, K2B students had the opportunity to become doctors for a day. Not only did they wear their lab coats, but also they made a medical round in the institution. As part of this experience, our little doctors explored a real ambulance, where they got to know its equipment and learned about the functioning of each of its components.
LPV presente en el Modelo de Naciones Unidas del Liceo Inglés

Los días 24, 25 y 26 de febrero, 17 estudiantes de nuestra institución, junto al docente Camilo Gonzáles, tuvieron la oportunidad de representar a nuestra comunidad en el Modelo de Naciones Unidas del Liceo Inglés, llevado a cabo en la Universidad Libre. Durante el evento, nuestros estudiantes participaron en intensos debates, demostrando sus habilidades en argumentación, oratoria, diálogo y diplomacia.
**On February 24, 25, and 26, 17 students from our institution, along with Camilo Gonzáles teacher, had the opportunity to represent our community at the Liceo Inglés Model United Nations, held at the Universidad Libre. During the event, our students participated in intense debates, demonstrating their argumentation skills, oratory, dialogue, and diplomacy.
