An emotional farewell
Esta semana se vivió uno de los momentos más emocionales de este cierre de semestre: La despedida de los estudiantes de grado 12 de Track B. A falta de unos días para su ceremonia de graduación, punto final a su vida como estudiantes LPV, los alumnos recibieron un sentido homenaje preparado por el colegio, otros alumnos y sus familias. Se compartieron los respectivos discursos y por supuesto, se hizo la tradicional siembra del árbol que simboliza esta generación de estudiantes cuyo futuro no tiene techo. **This week brought one of the most emotional moments of the semester’s end: the farewell to our Grade 12 Track B students. Just days away from their graduation ceremony, the official closing of their time as LPV students, they were honored with a heartfelt tribute prepared by the school, their peers, and families. Touching speeches were shared, and the traditional tree planting took place, symbolizing a generation whose future knows no limits. Un abrazo al corazón, queridos papás
A heartfelt hug to all our dear dads
En LPV celebramos a nuestros papás con el corazón lleno de gratitud. Hombres fuertes, profesionales y, sobre todo, fuentes de inspiración. Hoy, nuestros padres LPV, directivos, docentes y demás colaboradores, recibieron un merecido homenaje con un delicioso refrigerio y una sorpresa muy especial: mensajes llenos de amor enviados por sus familias, recopilados en un emotivo video preparado por nuestro equipo de Capital Humano y SST. ¡Gracias, papás, por ser esos héroes que nos enseñan que la verdadera fuerza nace del amor!
**At LPV, we celebrate our dads with hearts full of gratitude. Strong men, dedicated professionals, and above all, true sources of inspiration. Today, our LPV dads, leaders, teachers, and staff, were honored with a wel deserved tribute that included a delicious snack and a very special surprise: heartfelt messages from their families, compiled into an emotional video by our Human Capital and OHS team. Thank you, dads, for being the everyday heroes who remind us that true strength comes from the love we have for those we care about!

LPV Transportation, also honored
Este viernes, nuestros compañeros del equipo de Transporte recibieron un sentido homenaje. Un delicioso desayuno, acompañado de palabras de agradecimiento, discurso de la rectora y un respectivo reconocimiento para cada uno, fueron los momentos que tuvieron lugar en nuestro restaurante principal. Queridos conductores, auxiliares y líderes de proceso, agradecemos todo su apoyo durante este semestre, gracias por hacer que Liceo Pino Verde vaya sobre ruedas (LPV On Wheels!).
**This Friday, our colleagues from the Transportation team received a heartfelt tribute. A delicious breakfast, words of gratitude, a speech by our principal, and a special recognition for each team member took place in our main restaurant. To our dear drivers, assistants, and process leaders: thank you for all your support throughout this semester. Thanks for keeping Liceo Pino Verde rolling smoothly – LPV On Wheels!

Queridas familias, esta semana finalizaron las asambleas de Little School, eventos en los que nuestros estudiantes de Preescolar demostraron todo su talento y aprendizajes obtenidos durante este semestre. Desde la semana pasado habíamos publicado la galería de fotos con los eventos que ya se habían llevado a cabo, ahora se las volvemos a compartir, actualizada, con el registro fotográfico de las asambleas de esta semana. **Dear families, this week we wrapped up the Little School assemblies, wonderful events where our Preschool students showcased all their talent and the learning they’ve achieved throughout the semester. Last week, we had already shared a photo gallery featuring the assemblies held up to that point. Now, we’re happy to share the updated version, including pictures from this week’s events. Circo lleno de ternura
A circus filled with love and joy
“Circus of Feelings” fue el nombre del maravilloso evento organizado y protagonizado por nuestros estudiantes de Kinder 4 de Track A, quienes, junto a sus docentes Angélica Vergara y Maira Montoya, deslumbraron con su talento artístico e histriónico a través de una emotiva videollamada. Títeres, teatro, interpretación y canto fueron algunas de las expresiones presentadas en este tierno circo, que llenó de orgullo y emoción a las familias que los acompañaron desde sus pantallas. Esta actividad hizo parte de la sumativa “Cómo nos expresamos”, en la cual los niños de Little School compartieron con autenticidad sus sentimientos y aprendizajes sobre las emociones.
**“Circus of Feelings” was the name of the wonderful event organized and led by our Kinder 4 Track A students, who, together with their teachers Angélica Vergara and Maira Montoya, showcased their artistic and dramatic talents in a heartfelt video call. Puppetry, theater, performance, and singing were some of the expressive acts featured in this charming circus, which filled families with pride and joy as they watched from their screens. This activity was part of the summative assessment “How We Express Ourselves”, where Little School students did exactly that, expressed their emotions and shared everything they had learned about feelings.

A sports achievement and a professional milestone
No podíamos cerrar nuestro boletín semanal sin destacar a los miembros de nuestra Familia LPV que recientemente alcanzaron importantes logros. Por un lado, felicitamos a Gabriela Carrasco Quintero, estudiante de 3C Track B, quien participó en una competencia de gimnasia en Manizales y obtuvo el primer lugar en su categoría. Por otro lado, celebramos el logro académico y profesional de nuestro egresado Juan José Guerrero Vega, quien se graduó como Negociador Internacional de la Universidad EAN. Diferentes generaciones, distintos caminos, pero un mismo orgullo LPV.
**We couldn’t end our weekly newsletter without celebrating some of the outstanding achievements within our LPV Family. First, a big congratulations to Gabriela Carrasco Quintero, a 3C Track B student, who competed in a gymnastics event in Manizales and took home first place in her category. On the academic and professional front, we’re proud to share that LPV alum Juan José Guerrero Vega recently graduated as an International Business Negotiator from Universidad EAN. Different generations, different paths, but one shared LPV pride.
